These articles are meant to inform, encourage, and challenge Christians as we strive to walk daily with Christ.
“Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoice. My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave My soul in Sheol (Hell/Hades), nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life. At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalms 16:9-11)
“For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, ‘Not one of His bones shall be broken.’ And again another Scripture says, ‘They shall look on Him whom they pierced.’” (John 19:36,37)
“Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In your presence is fulness of joy; At your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalms 16:9-11)
“Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors. Give them according to the works of their hands. Render to them what they deserve.” (Psalms 28:4)
“Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.” (Psalms 32:1,2)
“I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,’ and You forgave the iniquity of my sin.” (Psalms 32:5)
“For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” (Psalms 33:4,5)
“Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good. Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.” (Psalms 34:11-16)
“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. Then I said, ‘Behold, I come; in the scroll of the book it is written of Me.’ I delight to do Your will, O my God, and your law is within my heart.” (Psalms 40:6-8)
“The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity. There is none who does good. God looks down from Heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Every one of them has turned aside. They have together become corrupt. There is none who does good, no, not one.” (Psalms 53:1-3)
